Flying Attack: A Journey Through Indorock Music

Flying Attack played their first show at Batu City and Malang City, Indonesia which held a mini studio terrace event in 2005 in Batu City. As a trio with Rob Coolper (guitar, & vocals), Wito (stand-up bass, back vocals) & Dian Bottle (drums) led by singer, guitarist & songwriter Rob Coolper (Robi Andre) the band’s sound is indorock java keroncong present in the middle between the traditionalism of many rockabilly bands formation and the rougher psychobilly sound and, Flying Attack tries through its own process to present a different sound with a unique blend of a series of elements of punk and rock ‘n’ roll mid-century, surf rock, van der man history of the hills like the traditional village-country era style, psychobilly like the film produced, britannia grindcore with speed, as well as elaborating the softness of the sound of traditional gamelan music elements and local culture, which emphasizes songwriting and melody.
